Citizen Eco-Drive watch and its perpetual calendar
For quite some time now my Citizen Eco-Drive watch has been getting the date wrong at the end of the month which has been incredibly vexing.
I kept setting the date as per the manual, but it was still getting it wrong. Last night I figured out why though - on the previous page in the manual (which can be found on the Internet with a bit of searching) it says how to align all the hands to the zero position. Also, and here's the important bit, the date must set set to "1" while doing this and mine was set to "31". I assume this was throwing out the calculations made but it seems fine now - clicked over from 28th February to 1st March this morning :-)
