Books and Beer
 | I've just read "Lord of the Silver Bow" by David Gemmell. It's been out for a while now, but I being a bit of a tight wad I was waiting to get it in paperback, and got a good deal on eBay for a new one. I could have read it in a single sitting - Gemmell has been my favourite author for a long time now and this book was no disappointment. |
As for "Beer", I went to the Fox and Hounds in Urmston last night to see a couple of friends, and ended up bumping into Mr Barry Peden, my form tutor at St Bede's College between September 1985 and July 1988. Bizarrely, I saw him walking up Broad Road near the sports centre about a month ago.
